With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Debra Walston of Wilson, North Carolina, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. She was predeceased by: her parents, Wilbert Hill and Mayzell Boykin Hill of Johnston County; and her siblings, Marvelene Carico, Imogene Murphy and William Hill.
She is survived by: her husband Donald R. Walston; her children, Cindy Walston of Raleigh and Bobby Walston; her sisters, Linda White of Wilson, Karen Taylor of Wilson, Sharon Turnage (Carlton) of Elm City, Elizabeth Boyette (James Head) of Eureka and Sandra Phillips of Hubert; her close friend Debbie Viverette (Roger) of Wilson; and her pet Seth.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 28th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the Tabernacle Baptist Church (1815 Airport Blvd NW, Wilson, NC 27893). Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 28th 2025 from 10:45 AM to 11:45 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, June 28th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Maplewood Cemetery (400 College St NE, Wilson, NC 27893).
