She was predeceased by: her husband Carl Nowell; and her parents, Jeramiah Eubanks and Ila Maurine Eubanks. She is survived by: her children, Maurine McQueen Nowell Brown (Greg) of Zebulon, Anna Jane Murray (Jim) of Lucama, Carl Alvin Nowell of Wilson and Maurice Nowell (Olga) of Oak Island; and her grandchildren, Rachel Brown, Jenna Lynn King (Brendan), Ruth Ann Murray and JC Murray. She is also survived by two great-grandchildren.
