As we bid adieu to Frank's earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in his wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration Frank has bequeathed us. For though he may have departed from our sight, his spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Elizabeth Butler and Benjamin Franklin Eagles. He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Poole Eagles; his children, Benjamin Logan Eagles (Virginia), Kate, Libby and Bradley Burwell Eagles; and his grandchildren, Wells and Carr.
In recognition of his contributions to his community and many years of service to students of this area, the College upon his retirement named its business center for him, his friends and colleagues contributed $20, 000 to the Frank L. Eagles Scholarship and he was presented the prestigious North Carolina award, the Order of the Long Leaf Pine by the governor.
