Geraldine Richeson Obituary

We announce the death of Geraldine Richeson of Wilson, North Carolina, who passed away on September 3, 2026, at the age of 99. Geraldine will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

Geraldine will be remembered for the impact she had on the lives of those around her. Friends, family, and colleagues will cherish their memories and the time shared. Those who knew Geraldine will remember moments of kindness, warmth, and presence. Though words cannot fully capture her life, the legacy of connections and experiences remains. Geraldine’s absence will be deeply felt by those who valued her companionship.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Grover Pate and Katherine Pate; her husband Robert L. Richeson; her son-in-law David Edwards; and her grandson Blake Richeson Murphy.

She is survived by: her children, Bob (Cathy) and Ronda Edwards; and her grandchildren, Katie Richeson, Michael Richeson (Alex Miller) and Kristen Dempsey (Michael). She is also survived by four great-grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Monday, September 14th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Gerry's Home.
