He is survived by: his wife Jacquelyn "Jackie" Barnes; his daughter Leigh Beaver (Kevin); his stepdaughter Gina Childress (Todd); his sons, Allen Barnes (Jeanne) and Grady Barnes, III (Kim); his grandchildren, Lauren, Brandon, Bryan, Cory, Seth, Ryan, Lia, Ryder, Tristan, Madison, Anna, Brad and Jordan; his siblings, Melda Jean Barnes Turner (Jimmy), Sydney Barnes Young (Gilbert), Wendy Barnes Allen Tolbert (Randy) and Cathy Barnes Black (Frank); the mothers of children, Mary Jeanette Bryant and Dianne Whitley Barnes; and his friend Joe Barkley "Uncle Joe". He is also survived by seventeen great-grandchildren; ten great-great-grandchildren.
