He was predeceased by: his parents, G. W. Smith and Maxine Smith. He is survived by: his son Patrick Smith; his daughter-in-law Crystal; his grandchildren, Audrey, Colt and Caleb; and his sister Joy Smith.
Visitation will be held on Friday, September 18th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 1:45 PM at the Joyner's Funeral Home (4100 Raleigh Rd Pkwy W, Wilson, NC 27896). A funeral service will be held on Friday, September 18th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, September 18th 2026 at 2:45 PM at the Evergreen Memorial Park (2800 Nash St N, Wilson, NC 27896).
