She is survived by: her former spouses, Robert "Bob" Lewis of Wilson and Lieutenant Colonial Lenward "Brooks" Ashley; her son Robert "Rob" Mack Lewis, Jr. (Gloria Lightsey Lewis) of Chapel Hill; her sister Reba Whitty Goodson (Billy) of Kansas; her sister-in-law Carol Whitty of O'Brien; her brothers, John R. Whitty of New Bern and Walton B. Whitty (Jane) of Swansboro; her caregivers, Jacqueline Gardner, RN of Kayla Curatolo, RN, Shana Nicholson and Frances McFalls; and her daughter Ginnie Eubanks.
