She was predeceased by: her parents, R. E. Currin and Mayo Currin. She is survived by: her husband William Turner; her daughters, Lynn Lee (John), Leigh Harrell (Joseph) and Lesa Flick (Paul); her granddaughter Lydia Harrell (Ryan); her great grandchild Celine; her granddaughters, Madeline Harrell and Currin King (Adam); her son Judson; her friend Marla Whitley; and her caregivers, Lisa Mooring and Tammy Barnes.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, May 12th 2026 from 12:30 PM to 1:45 PM at the First Baptist Church (311 Nash St N, Wilson, NC 27893). A memorial service was held on Tuesday, May 12th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the First Baptist Church of Wilson (311 Nash St N, Wilson, NC 27893).
