It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jennifer LaRue Moye Lia of Wilson, North Carolina, who passed away on March 9, 2026, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband James Thomas Lia; and her parents, Linwood Moye and Sallie Mae Moye. She is survived by: her daughters, Karen Lia Lamm and Sally Lia Edmondson; her grandchildren, Alexis Godwin (Ryan), Maranda Cates (Kendall), Samantha Ballance, Jennifer Edmondson, James Minshew (Chelsea), Joseph Minshew and Bobby Edmondson, Jr.; her sons-in-law, Dickie Minshew and Bobby W. Edmondson; and her siblings, Phyllis Moye Raper and Linwood Moye, Jr.. She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews and great nieces and great nephews.
