He is survived by: his children, Jessica Spruill (Nick) of Lucama and Jason Williams of Wilson; his grandchildren, Kaitlyn and Connor Spruill; his brother John Williams (Valerie) of Raleigh; and his brother-in-law Billy Rodgers (Nancy) of Roanoke Rapids.
