He is survived by: his wife Doreen Woodruff Bass; his children, Jolyn Latoria Bass of New Bern, Justin Lee Bass of Greenville and Jonathan Lawson Bass of Wilson; his grandchildren, Nicholas "Nick" Lee Bass and Natalie Elizabeth Bass of Greenville; his siblings, Alvin Ravone Bass, Sr. (Janice), Richard "Ricky" G. Bass (Jenny), Debbie B. Bass (Bucky) and Teresa B. Patton (Keith); and his parents-in-law, Johnny F. and Brenda W. Woodruff. He is also survived by several nieces, great nieces, nephews, great nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 7th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:45 PM at the Farmington Heights Church (910 Raleigh Rd Pkwy W, Wilson, NC 27896). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 7th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Tuesday, October 7th 2025 at 3:30 PM at the Evergreen Memorial Park (2800 Nash St N, Wilson, NC 27896).
