With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Jimmy Wise (Wilson, North Carolina), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 29, 2025 at the age of 83. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Jimmy Wise to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Wise and Mary Belle Thompson Wise of Wayne County; and his brothers, Billy Ray Wise, Danny Wise and Jackie Wise.
He is survived by: his wife Linda Faye Lancaster Wise; his daughters, Nancy Howell (Jeff) of White Lake and Tracey Ellis of Raleigh; his grandchildren, Scott, Arienne, Nathan Howell, Lauren and Sydney Ellis; and his siblings, Shirley Moore of Grifton, Jean McCoy, Patricia Cox of Dudley, Mary Margaret Holley (Roger) of Niceville, FL and Fred Wise (Violet) of Dudley.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 4th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 2:00 PM at the Mount Nelson Church (206 W Main St, Eureka, NC 27830). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 4th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 2:45 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, October 4th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Eureka Cemetery (146 E Main St, Eureka, NC 27830).
