He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph H. Manning and Pluma Robinson Manning; his wife Nancy Lane Manning; and his brother Robert Wayne Manning. He is survived by: his daughter Angie Manning Holland (Patrick) of Wilson; his sister Linda Manning Cooke (Wayne) of Rocky Mount; his close friend Ann Boyette of Tarboro; his sister-in-law Donna Manning of Rocky Mount; and his nieces and nephews, Greg Taylor (Michelle), Melissa Hobgood (Todd), Jeffrey Manning (Alicia) and Ashley Woodruff (John).
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 31st 2026 at 2:00 PM at the First Free Will Baptist Church (3150 Western Blvd, Tarboro, NC 27886).
