With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Joyce Ferrell of Wilson, North Carolina, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. She was predeceased by: her husband James Earl "Shorty" Ferrell; her daughter Carolyn Finn; her great grandchild Alex Ferrell; and her sister Jean P. Hill. She is survived by: her son Earl Ferrell (Charlotte) of Rocky Mount; her grandchildren, Jenna Brewer (Walt), Ken Ferrell (Ann) and Don Ferrell (Laurie); her great grandchildren, Brittany, Michael, Justine, Miranda, Allison, Joshua and Holly; and her great great grandchildren, Colton, Ryder, Lawson, Eli and Oakley.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, June 17th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:45 AM at the Wilson Memorial Service (2811 Fieldstream Dr N, Wilson, NC 27896). Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 17th 2025 from 11:45 AM to 12:45 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Tuesday, June 17th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Maplewood Cemetery (400 College St NE, Wilson, NC 27893).
