He was predeceased by: his parents, Junius Brooks and Lewella Sawyer Honeycutt; his brother Joseph Brooks Honeycutt; and his brother-in-law Lorne Burry. He is survived by: his wife Barbara Lingle Honeycutt; his sons, Brooks Honeycutt (Elaine) and Willis Honeycutt; his grandson Jay Honeycutt; his siblings, Alice H. Scott (Sonny), Constance H. Burry, William Rex Honeycutt (Dorothy) and Craig Stanley Honeycutt (Jackie); and his sister-in-law Donna Lingle Ray of Goldsboro.
