It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Katie Lynch of Wilson, North Carolina, who passed away on April 26, 2021, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Carpenter and Cleora Williams Carpenter; her son Walter Alan Lynch; and her siblings, Anna Whitman, Mavis Webb, Betty Lou Earp, Ruth Bailey, Redmon Carpenter, Alton Carpenter and Walter Gray Carpenter, Jr..

She is survived by: her husband Marvin Lynch; her daughter Angie Maynard (Tom) of Knightdale; her grandsons, Benjamin Maynard and Alexander Maynard; and her siblings, Rochelle Whitehead, Roselle Tyson of Nashville, Eleanor Howell of Grifton, Truman Carpenter of Angier and Ravin Carpenter of Nashville.

Masks and social distancing are suggested.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to Forest Hills Baptist Church Building Fund, 1407 Forest Hills Rd NW, Wilson, NC 27896.
