Laudis Turner Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Laudis Turner of Wilson, North Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 11, 2025 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Boson Turner and Bicy May Nichols Turner; his wife Brenda Dunn Turner; and his siblings, Elsie Mae Peacock, Richard and Charles Turner.
He is survived by: his daughters, Kim Crocker (Lamar) of Kenly and Crystal Turner (Bobby Howard) of Wilson; his siblings, Brenda Barbee of Lucama, Milton Turner of Lucama and Billy Earl Turner (Margie) of Elm City; his grandsons, Corey Crocker of Kenly and Brandon Crocker of Wilson; and his great grandchildren, Isla and Westin. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
A funeral service was held on Tuesday, October 14th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the Shingleton Funeral Home (2413 Nash St NW, Wilson, NC 27896). A graveside service was held on Wednesday, October 15th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Buckhorn Cemetery. A reception was held on Wednesday, October 15th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Home of Laudis Turner.
