He was predeceased by: his parents, Joshua Thomas and Anna Chase Aycock; his siblings, Jean Murray, Debra Aycock and Gerald Aycock; and the mother of his children Frances Parrish Aycock.
He is survived by: his daughters, Beverly Aycock of Wilson and Kimberly Aycock of Rocky Mount; his brothers, Jarvis Aycock and Ricky Aycock of Wilson; his sister-in-law Betty Aycock of Wilson; and his close friend Susie Boone of Lucama. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
