He is survived by: his wife Carol Davis Whitehead; his stepsons, James Allen Nicholson (Fracnee) of Elkton and William Henry Nicholson (Melissa) of Leicester; his daughter-in-law Danielle Nicholson of Wilmington; his grandchildren, Meghan (Zack) of Elkton, Madison, Gabriel, Javis Nicholson of Denver, Summer, Kiera and Hannah Nicholson of Wilmington; and his great grandchildren, Ada Jane, AJ Cardin of Elkton, Virginia, Toshie and Lewis.
