She was predeceased by: her parents, Eloise Moore Bissett and Charles Thomas Bissett; and her husband Ula Hubert Cozart III. She is survived by: her children, Thomas Moye Cozart of Southern Pines, NC and Janet Cozart Chesson (Jon) of Little Washington, NC; her grandson Riley; Irene Armstrong, Emily Ballance, Tanya Bryant, Sheri Connie, Lisa Cooper, Barbara Farmer, Mary Freson, Lisa Mooring and Sherby White.
A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, May 27th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the St Timothy's Episcopal Church (202 Goldsboro St E, Wilson, NC 27893). Visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 27th 2026 at 11:45 AM at the same location. A reception will be held on Wednesday, May 27th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the Common Room.
