She was predeceased by: her former husband Kenneth Boyette; her sisters, Frances Peed and Sandra Moore; her parents, Mack Leggett and Lorraine Leggett of Martin County, NC.; and her grandson Thomas Stott.
She is survived by: her husband Thomas Stott; her children, Karen Long (Ben) of Zebulon and Joseph Parrish (Cindy) of Zebulon; her stepchildren, Karen Candes (John), Kim Moore (Jimmy), Amy Winslow (Jack) and Edwin Stott (Diane); her grandchildren, Brooks (Alex), Katelyn, Cameron, Alexander, Evangelos and Spencer; and her sisters, Gail Leggett and Linda Howell. She is also survived by her many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Peace Church (2838 Tilghman Rd N, Wilson, NC 27896). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 from 2:00 PM to 2:30 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 at 3:00 PM at the Evergreen Memorial Park (2800 Nash St N, Wilson, NC 27896).
