She was predeceased by: her parents, Cecil Newberry and Marguerite Hall Newberry. She is survived by: her husband Fawky; her children, Marguerite "Rita" (late Mark Taylor), Robert Clyde (Whitney) and Marcus Newberry (Grey); her grandchildren, Christopher (Lauren), Ashley (Adrian), Peyton, Will, Beau and Carter; her great grandchildren, Anna, David, Lillian and Anderson; her stepson Shereef Abdallah (Joanne); and her son Kade.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Marguerite's memory to SpringWell Network, Inc. (formerly Group Homes of Forsyth) or to First United Methodist Church, PO Box 1423, Wilson NC 27894.
