She was predeceased by: her parents, James Stancil and Peggy Stancil; and her siblings, Joan Thompson, Danny Stancil, Steve Stancil and Jimmy Stancil.

She is survived by: her son Marshall Bass; her grandson Jaxson Bass; her nephew George Thompson of Florida; her nieces, Kelly Barnes (Billy) of Black Creek, Tish Summerlin (Steve) of Wilson and Leeann Edwards (Justin) of Zebulon; and her cousin Precious.
