We are sad to announce that on July 8, 2025, at the age of 87, Mary Ann Overman (Wilson, North Carolina) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

While her presence may be gone, her impact lives on in the kindness shown to others and the joy found in the ordinary moments of life.
She was predeceased by: her husband James Overman; her parents, Melvin Cummings and Mamie Macy Cummings; and her son C. J. Liverman (Cheryl) of North Wilkesboro. She is survived by: her children, Kay Boykin (David) of Elm City, Robert Liverman (Judy) of Elm City and David Liverman (Olivia) of Pikeville; and her stepson Jimmy Overman of Lucama. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren.
A funeral service was held on Saturday, July 12th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 2:45 PM at the Wilson Memorial Service (2811 Fieldstream Dr N, Wilson, NC 27896). A burial was held on Saturday, July 12th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Maplewood Cemetery (400 College St NE, Wilson, NC 27893).
