She was predeceased by: her parents, Samuel Barnes and Matilda Barnes; her siblings, Jacquelyn Marie Barnes, Pete Barnes and B. L. Barnes; and her siblings-in-law, Sam Brantley and Bonnie Bell Barnes.
She is survived by: her husband Carris "Tommy" Crumpler; her children, Cynthia Diane Morris of Wilson and Carris Wayne Crumpler (Mary Jo) of Wilson; her grandchildren, Crystal Michele Lester (Rob) of Chapel Hill, Emmie Lou Morris of Wilson and Amber Nichole Morris of Wilson; her great grandchildren, Brayden Hardy Lester of Chapel Hill, Makayla Gray Lester of Chapel Hill and William Earl Godwin of Wilson; her siblings, Eleanor Ruth Barnes of Wilson, Laura Frances Brantley of Bailey and Joseph Samuel Barnes (Peggy); her sister-in-law Christine Barnes; and her caregiver Amie Finch. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
