She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Coley and Mary Whaley Coley; her husband Needham Joyner; and her sister Gladys Davis. She is survived by: her children, Betty Joyner Powell (Billy) and Jerry Joyner (Debbie); her grandsons, Chad Powell, Christopher Powell and Jason Joyner; and her niece Linda Lindsey. She is also survived by several great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, May 27th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 1:45 PM at the Shingleton Funeral Home (2413 Nash St NW, Wilson, NC 27894). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, May 27th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
