She was predeceased by: her husband Donnie Reason; her parents, Albert Dallas Pridgen and Leyta Faye Smiley Pridgen; and her brothers, Albert Dallas Pridgen Jr., Spencer "Spink" Pridgen and Matthew Pridgen.
She is survived by: her children, Candace Barron of Wilson, Preston Reason (Sheila) of Roanoke, VA and Kevin Reason of Wilson; her grandchildren, Allen Barron, Lauren Barron and Abby Reason; and her siblings, Kathy Parham (Bill) of Ramsuer, Terry Marquez of Selma, Phyllis Evans of Raleigh, Beth Jewell (Joey) of Thomasville, Sugie Davenport (Mark) of Washington, Kara Gonzales (Brandon) of Albuquerque, NM, Phil Pridgen (Ann) of Angier and Timothy Pridgen of Wilson.
