Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Mona Hendon Fulghum of Wilson, North Carolina, who passed away at the age of 70, on July 20, 2025. She was predeceased by: her parents, Bennie Hendon and Mildred Hendon. She is survived by: her husband Grady S. Fulghum; her children, Allyson Fulghum Heath (John) of Greenville and Christopher Fulghum of Dunn; her grandchildren, Ty Fulghum and Sydney Fulghum of Florida; her sister Linda White of Portageville, MO; and her siblings-in-law, Raeford Fulghum, James "Rabbit" Fulghum (Jannette), Gerald Fulghum (Linda), Larry Fulghum, David Fulghum (Elaine) and Janet Louise Fulghum Barnes. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 24th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Joyners Funeral Home & Crematory (4100 Raleigh Rd Pkwy W, Wilson, NC 27896). A funeral service will be held on Friday, July 25th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:45 AM at the Marsh Swamp Original Free WIL Baptist Church (6664 Rock Ridge School Rd, Sims, NC 27880). A burial will be held on Friday, July 25th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the same location.
