She is survived by: her children, Edna Meeks Thomas of Lorton, Cathy Meeks Jones of Whitakers, NC and Stanley Meeks (Juanita) of Wilson, NC.; her grandchildren, Anthony Hopkins Jr., Javaros, Jerome, Jasmine Thomas, Tiffany, Christopher, Jeffery, Amber Meeks and Latrease Manigault; and her siblings, Janice Pope (George) of Capitol Heights and Ronnie Dixon of Wilson, NC..
Visitation was held on Thursday, June 12th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 5:30 PM at the Stevens Funeral Home (1820 Martin Luther King Jr Pkwy, Durham, NC 27707). A funeral service was held on Thursday, June 12th 2025 from 5:30 PM to 7:00 PM and on Friday, June 13th 2025 at 12:00 PM.
