McGarrah (Michael) and Susan Jo Hilburn; son: Andrew "Buddy" Hilburn III (Dale); grandchildren: Andrew "Drew" Hilburn IV (Christy), Matthew "Matt" Hilburn, Sarah "Katie" Hensley, Charles "Sam" Hensley (Megan), and Erick Hilburn; great-grandchildren: Ava Claire Hilburn, Alaina Hilburn, and Walter Coyt Hensley; brothers: Winston Varnell (Ruth), Vance Varnell (Marge), Dennis Varnell (Judith "Judy"), David Varnell (Barbara), and Wallace Varnell.
A memorial service will be held on Sunday, November 1st 2026 from 2:00 PM to 2:30 PM at the Wilson Memorial Service (2811 Fieldstream Dr N, Wilson, NC 27896). Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 1st 2026 at 2:30 PM at the same location.
