With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Peggy Hedgepeth Anderson in Wilson, North Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 2, 2026 at the age of 93. She was predeceased by: her parents, Benjamin F. Hedgepeth and Willie Rouse Hedgepeth; and her husband Joseph Thomas Anderson. She is survived by: her children, Joseph Todd Anderson (Wendy) and Bari Anderson Rodgers (Todd); her grandchildren, Michael McCabe Anderson (Rachel), Lauren Anderson Hawkins (Dylan), Taner Gray Rodgers and Caroline Thorne Anderson; her great grandchildren, Kensington McGreggor Anderson, Bennett William Anderson and Warner James Hawkins; and her sister-in-law Marie Joyner Hedgepeth. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
