He was predeceased by: his parents, Hudson Scott and Ruby Harrell Clary Scott. He is survived by: his wife Karen Heath Clary; his children, Erica Lee Clary Lamm (Jonathan) of Wilson, NC and Matthew Rick Clary (Amber) of Wilson, NC.; his grandchildren, Allison Lee Twiddy, Barrett Lee Lamm and Grayson Matthew Clary; and his sisters, Claudette Taylor (Tommy) and Janet Nobles (Tony) of Scotland Neck, NC. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, extended family.
A graveside service was held on Wednesday, September 2nd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Hobgood Cemetery (202 W 5th St, Hobgood, NC 27843).
