It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Romas McGee Jr. (Wilson, North Carolina), who passed away on March 15, 2020, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Romas McGee, Sr. and Bettie Knight McGee; and his brother Thurman McGee. He is survived by: his children, Romas P. McGee of Mt. Vernon, NY, Michael Todd of Elm City, NC, Jacqueline Phillips of Nashville, NC, Minister Gloria Grant of Rocky Mount, NC and Sandy McGee-Newton of Elm City, NC; his siblings, Mary Gethers of Aberdeen, MD, John Julius McGee (Anna) of Fayetteville and Elder Alexander McGee (Bishop Ernestine McGee) of Elm City, NC; his sister-in-law Elder Alexander McGee; and also Ernestine McGee. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
