He was predeceased by: his wife Brenda Wade Parrish; his mother Alberta Parrish; and his siblings, Elaine Barnes, Willa Lee Ivy, Peggy Barnes, Jerry Parrish, Bobby "Dale" Parrish and Scottie Parrish.
He is survived by: his children, Craig Parrish (Linda) of Wilson and Tara Penny (Jimmy) of Wilson; his grandchildren, Landon Penny and Cali Penny; and his siblings, Bonnie Hayes of Wilson, Mary Frances Wright of Conway, Diane Turner of Black Creek, Brenda Bunn of Lucama and Randy Parrish of Goldsboro.
Visitation will be held on Monday, June 16th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Joyner's Funeral Home (4100 Raleigh Rd Pkwy W, Wilson, NC 27896). A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, June 17th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Elmwood Cemetery (303 E North St, Fremont, NC 27830).
