She was predeceased by: her parents, Nora Wells Lucas and Curtis Lucas; her spouse JC Cone; and her siblings, Horace Ray Lucas, Carris Lucas, Farris Lucas, Madeline McKeel and Rose Marie Lucas.

She is survived by: her son Dean Cone (Tammy) of Ayden; her grandchildren, Jordan Fox (Michael) of Greenville, SC and Curt Cone (Madison) of Ayden; and her sister Pearl Curlin of Charlotte. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
