She was predeceased by: her parents, Joe Elliott and Judy Elliott. She is survived by: her husband Bruce Jackson; her children, Jill Wheeler (Jay) of Wilson and Joe Jackson (Kym) of Wilson; her grandchildren, Jackson Wheeler, Elliott Wheeler, Lee Jackson, Walker Jackson and Savannah Jackson; her sister-in-law Jane Thomas (Buck) of Southport; her nieces, Amy Forbis (Aaron) of Clemmons and Carly Schilling (Walter) of Franklinton; and her nephew Tyler Thomas of Durham.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to First Baptist Church, PO Box 1467, Wilson, NC 27894.
