Wanda Woodard Obituary
We are sad to announce that on June 25, 2025 we had to say goodbye to Wanda Woodard of Wilson, North Carolina. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Laura Tessnear and Emmett Tessnear; and her siblings, Richard Tessnear, Baxtor Tessnear, Gary Tessnear and Doris Miller.
She is survived by: her husband Dr. Jerry Woodard; her sister Myrtle Robbins of Forest City; her stepchildren, Jerrilyn Woodard-Entrekin (Andy Entrekin) of Bedford, TX and Jason Woodard (Kristi) of Raleigh; her grandchildren, Morrow Entrekin of Bedford, TX, Jake Woodard and Lila Kate Woodard of Raleigh; and her caregivers, Sigi Orcell, Jewel Webb, Tamelia Bynum and Wanda. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, July 11th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Wilson Memorial Service (2811 Fieldstream Dr N, Wilson, NC 27896). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, July 12th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the First United Methodist Church (100 Green St NE, Wilson, NC 27893).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the First United Methodist Church, PO Box 1423, Wilson, NC 27894 for their Endowment Fund or the Wanda Woodard Memorial Scholarship Fund.
