He is survived by: his wife Linda Glover Smith; his children, Brian Wayne Smith (Amy) of Sims, NC, Christopher Shawn Smith of Louisville, KY and Christie Nicole Smith of Wendell, NC.; his siblings, Larry Smith of Rocky Mount, NC, Wanda Farrar (Jerry) of Whitakers, NC and Melody Pridgen (Jerry) of Elm City, NC.; his stepdaughters, Amy Lynn Braziel of Charlotte and Tina Nicole Braziel of Raleigh; his grandchildren, Kasey Eason (Tanner), Andrew Smith, Grantt Smith, Paris Smith, Julia Robinson (Eden), Taylor Alicea, Olivia Lorenzen, Carson Eason, Huntley Eason and Maverly Smith; and his stepgrandchildren, Brianna Tew, Michaela Riley (Austin) and Austin Heath.
