He is survived by: his sons, George T. Whitley Jr. and David Earl Whitley; his grandchildren, Jamaal, Naim, Gui-Nu and Solomon; his siblings, Pherbia, Janet, Linda, Carolyn, Regina, Charles (Linda), Drew, Donald (Valerie), Ronald (Martha) and Russell; his aunt Fannie Wilder; and his siblings-in-law, Sylvia Whitley, Geraldine McKay and Bruce McKay. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and dear friends.
