Alvin York Obituary

We are sad to announce that on November 23, 2022, at the age of 76, Alvin York (Windsor, North Carolina) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Frank York and Mary Elizabeth York; and his daughter Evelyn M. White. He is survived by : his wife Raycine Mizelle York; his stepson Jim White (Traci) of Colerain; his daughter Kara Mitchell (Chet) of Barney, GA; his sisters, Audrey Dozier of Albany, GA and Arnisteen Adams (Herbie) of Manchester, GA; and his grandchildren, Corey, Ethan, Tyler, Kaleb Mitchell, Brook and Chase White. He is also survived by seven great-grandchildren.
