It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Eldridge Henry Baker of Windsor, North Carolina, who passed away on July 2, 2022, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Jesse S. Baker and Grethel Perry Baker; his siblings, Dorothy Hooker, Nell Lilley and E. J. Baker; and his son-in-law Jay Bowen.
He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Mae Cobb Baker; his children, Anita Baker Bowen and Philip H. Baker of Windsor; his granddaughters, Holly Bowen Buda (David) and Bonnie Bowen Copeland (Brad); and his great grandchildren, Courtney Cox, Stephanie Cline and Owen Buda.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in his memory may be made to Merry Hill Baptist Church, 402 Old Merry Hill Road, Merry Hill, NC 27957.
