He was predeceased by : his mother Delanders "Dee" Alkio; his grandmother Emo Jernigan; and his brother Bobby Byrum. He is survived by : his wife Kaye Mizell Byrum; his children, Holley Nichols (John) and Justin Byrum; and his grandchildren, Annabelle and Locke Nichols. He is also survived by several nephews and nieces.
