We bid farewell to Jonathan Johnson of Windsor, North Carolina, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on June 11, 2025 at the age of 100. Jonathan touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. Though Jonathan may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Jonathan touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.

He was predeceased by: his wife Virginia Dare Miller; and his children, Jonathan Johnson, Jr. and Peggy Ann Johnson. He is survived by: his children, Tommy Ray Johnson (Phyllis) of Colerain, Randy Kent Johnson (Melody) of Windsor, Eddie Carroll Johnson (Pat) of Colerain, Esther Faye Johnson of Colerain and Betty Jean Johnson Mathews (Charles) of Hertford. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; twenty-three great grandchildren; and seven great great-grandchildren.
