She was predeceased by: her parents, Lon Ray Spruill and Jessie Phelps Spruill; and her husband Spencer Legray Pierce. She is survived by: her children, Nancy (Vic Thompson) of Merry Hill and Adal (Jackie Pierce) of Windsor; her sister Gail (Gaylord Goehring); her niece Amber of South Dakota; her grandchildren, Matt (Brittany), Lewis (Kristy), Mason (Chelsea), Mandy (Ryan), Logan, Lon, Jessica (Jamie) and Tori (Justin); and her great grandchildren, Bryce, Briley, Heidi, Harper, Raelynn, Henry, RaeLynn, Korbin, Cohen-Ray, Harry, Skylar, Gavin, Laim and Emerson.
A graveside service was held on Saturday, October 25th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Edgewood Cemetery (406 US HWY 13 North, Windsor, NC 27983).
