In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy Ned leaves behind and his impact on the lives of his loved ones. Though Ned may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the memories held dear by his family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Grover Scott Hoggard and Annie Louis Langdale Hoggard; and his brothers, Ray McDonald "Doc" Hoggard and Scotty Hoggard. He is survived by: his wife Delinda Bass Hoggard; his children, Brian Layden (Natalie), Tonya Jones (Glen) and Scarlet Bennett (Mason); and his sister Ann Hoggard Haislip (Doc). He is also survived by nine grandchildren; four great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Lawrence Baptist Church (1043 Cooper Hill Rd, Windsor, NC 27983).
