With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Nettie White (Windsor, North Carolina), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 28, 2025 at the age of 101. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, George Jernigan and Melissa Jernigan; her husband Warren White; her son Allen Gail White; and her siblings, Starkey Jernigan, Carlie Jernigan, Paline Roundtree, Annie Mae Hill and Edna Jernigan.
She is survived by: her children, Bennie White (Judy) of Askewville, Frances White Perry (Billy) of Askewville and Shirley White Powell (Bud) of Edenton; her sisters, Ruby White of Askewville and Vergie Mizelle of Askewville; her grandchildren, Michael Perry, Eric White, Holly White, Mandy Klingenberg, Hoskins Powell and Harrison Powell; her great grandchildren, Blythe, Henley, Kaela, Brianna, Ryan, Hannah, Luke, Grady and Faye; and her great great grandchildren, Wade, Walker, Wrenleigh and Everleigh.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Askewville Baptist Church at 110 E. Askewville Road, Windsor, NC 27983.
