We are sad to announce that on January 5, 2024, at the age of 77, Richard David Yates Sr. (Windsor, North Carolina) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Robert Yates, and Lillie Mae Lewis Yates, Sr.. He is survived by : his wife Ernestine Yates of Windsor, NC; and his children, Richard Yates, Jr. (Valerie) of Lawrenceville, GA, Isaac Yates and Aretha Yates of Aulander, NC. He is also survived by grandchildren, (6) great grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
