He was predeceased by: his parents, James Thomas Bowen and Della Mae Dunlow Bowen. He is survived by: his wife Betty Ray Bowen; his daughters, Kimberly Bowen Parker and Cindy Bowen Johnson (Brooks); his grandchildren, Abigail Moreland (Joel), Kayla Remick, Emily Remick, Jesse Williams, Graysin Bracy and Linsey Johnson; his great grandchild Layton Moreland; his grandsons, Ace Clark and Devin Cherry; and his pets, Missy, Molly and Ivy Kate.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, June 20th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Edgewood Baptist Church (112 Lea Lumber Company Rd, Windsor, NC 27983).
