He was predeceased by: his parents, Rachel Waters Woodard and Odis Waters; and his brother Bill Waters. He is survived by: his sisters, Sarah Bonney (Perry) and Glenda Equils (Robbie); his children, Betty Woolard, Beth Waters and Leon Waters; and his grandchildren, Robbie, Bobby Nixon, Wendy Ditto, Chris Lewellen and Greg Nixon. He is also survived by seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
