She was predeceased by: her parents, George Horne and Hattie Rushing Horne; her husband Lawrence Gibson; and her sons, Robert Gibson and Billy Ray Gibson.

She is survived by: her daughter Judy Evans (Junior). She is also survived by many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
